The thing I find the most interesting about these blush ombre's from MAC is that each one fits this seasons top colors...each blush has a color story, and each blush contains two colors merging into one. In the fashion world this effect would be referred to as ombre...and therefore that is the name MAC gave them. Each blush is very custom. No two blushes were merged together in the exact same way...some half way, some 3/4 of the way. They have the same packaging as beauty powders, and the same finish as well...I like to refer to them as ombre beauty powders...The shimmer isn't glittery, it creates a nice glow on the cheek and can be applied heavily or lightly pretty interchangeably...
Azalea Blossom-This color is a light cool pink that reminds me of Well Dressed by MAC. It grades into a nice clean violet that looks kind of like Cotton Candy...I personally would have loved to have named it that if I were that part of the creative team for MAC, simply because MAC already has an Azalea Powder Blush...and Azalea Blossom is so much softer and looks like Cotton Candy...
Ripe Peach-This color is a gorgeous clean peach that grades into a tangerine coral color. Ripe Peach says it all...MAC maked a blush called Peaches that I love to death, but if you love Peaches or Cantaloupe Powder Blush or even Devil Powder Blush that is this idea---on steroids...I think this color is sooo universally flattering...beautiful. Personally I love to contour my cheeks with MAC's Pinch O Peach first, and then apply this on top using the gradation effect to carve out my cheeks...
Vintage Grape-This color is a kind of like MAC's Dirty Plum Blush and it merges into a color that reminds me of Fig. 1 eyeshadow. I don't love it on me...but it looks gorgeous on deeper skin tones, a little of this all over the cheeks and Bubblegum lipstick on deep skin makes for a beautiful summertime look with this seasons gorgeous colors...I have to apply it lightly.
Springshine-This color is not to be confused with Springsheen Blush at all. It fits into the Amber category, so you guessed it...its a bronzer...This is an amazing bronzer I can't lie!! Its starts off as a nice golden color that reminds me of a more matte Amber Lights eyeshadow and grades into a soft version of Blunt Powder Blush by MAC. I think this is a great neutral bronzer, no orange at all...
