So I went to my nearest MACPro store a few days after the Alice + Olivia Collection was launched. Since I just came back from IMATS I didn't have a lot of money to spend on this collection...so I had to choose wisely. I picked up only two little things...I thought the whole thing was ffaafffaaabulous but what can you do....it was worth it to go to IMATS this year. I would also like to continue talking about things I found at IMATS but I will take a brief intermission for Alice + Olivia and possibly for Digi Pops later on, but I don't plan on buying much from Digi Pops....just 2 lipsticks to be honest....I think I can live without most of them for sure...the collection is almost toooo sparkley, but an interesting throw back to the better and more fabulous Dazzleglasses....you just can't beat the original....
So this is my most favorite look I have accomplished in the longest time...it took a while to perfect...and worth every savory minute...
1. Prep the face by applying moisturizer, eyelid primer and lip conditioner.
2. Using Kryolan's Interferenze Palette and MAC's Fix +, take a flat brush and spray down the hairs of the brush...Using the GB color (teal) apply to the lid.
3. Using Urban Decay's 24/7 Pencil in Gunmetal (dark silvery grey with glitter) and from the outer corner where the natural outer tear duct starts draw a line going out kind of like a wing, and draw in the crease, and connect the two lines to form a < kind of like an Arabic outer eye style. Draw this down right up against Kryolan's GB.
4. Using MAC's Alice + Olivia pigment in Partylicious (turquoise with silver pearl) and take a little on a dry flat brush and pat it over the Kryolan GB. Cover the Kryolan GB completely.
5. Now take Urban Decay's Book Of Shadows Vol. II and using the shadow shade in Misdemeanor (dirty green blue shade) and a dry flat shader brush and pat it into the outer corner and the inner corner.
6. Using the MAC 224 blender brush and blend the two shades into each other. Take MAC's Partylicious again and set it right into the center of the lid.
7. Using Both Urban Decay's Misdemeanor and Jinx (bright blue green) and the MAC 217 blender and shader and apply into the outer corner of the lid and blend inward until there is no harsh line.
8. Using Both Urban Decay's Misdemeanor and Mushroom (dirty grey) and the MAC 217 and blend over the Gunmetal 24/7 pencil with MAC's 219 to soften it only slightly.
9. Using MAC's Sushi Flower (satin-bright pink with coral undertone) eyeshadow and the MAC 217 Blend above the area where you cut the crease. But only blend in the outer area of the crease. Go about halfway in.
10. Using Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Sphynx (bright pink with silver sparkle) and blend into the crease on the inner half, and smooth out Sushi Flower as well if it has any harsh edges.
11. Using MAC 's eyeshadow in Bottle Green (bottle green-matte) and the MAC 217, and Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Pervursion (matte black) and blend out the outer < shape on either side of eye.
12. Line the waterline and the upper waterline, and the inner tear duct corner with MAC's eye kohl in Feline (blackest black) and set with UD's Pervusion eyeshadow. Now take MAC's Black Track Fluid line, and the MAC 208, angled brush and line the upper eyelid. The line is going to be very thin on the inner portion, and go out into a thicker line in the outer corner.
13. Set with Urban Decay's Pervursion. In the outer corner only take a little bit more of Urban Decay's Pervursion eyeshadow and smoke it out above that thicker line of gel liner and the outer < to make it super smokey and inky.
14. Now take UD's shadow in ABC Gum (peachy nude-matte) and apply to the brow bone with the MAC 227. Now take UD's eyeshadow in Polyester Bride and pat it into the outer corner of the brow bone. Take Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Sellout (shimmery champagne) and pat it into the inner corner of the brow bone.
15. Apply Make Up Forever's eyelashes in #108's (Alison-long dense and at an angle) after applying mascara and fitting the lashes to the eye. Trim away access. Use clear glue, and press as close to the lashline as possible. Prettiest lashes I ever owned.
16. Using MAC's Eye Kohl in Float On By (MAC To The Beach-turqoise) and apply to the lower lashline. Draw it out to match up the wing thats inky and black. Take the MAC 219 and smudge it out with MAC's Partylicious Pigment from Alice + Olivia.
17. Using MAC's pigment in White Gold (Pro) and the MAC 219, apply into the inner tear duct, and on top of Partylicious.
18. Using Lorac's Satin Baked Blush in Exposed (peachy peach) and apply it to the cheeks.
19. Apply bronzer.
20. Using Urban Decay's 24/7 liner in Wicked (bright pink) and contour the lips and define.
21. Using Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetic's Lip Tar in Hush (bridal pink) apply on top but use a dab only.
22. Now take MAC's Dazzleglass Creme in If It's Pink (Alice + Olivia) and apply on top. OCC Lip Tars have a matte finish.
23. Using MAC's Reflect's Glitter in Reflect's Pink Pat into the center of the lip for extra dazzle and staying power.
