My MAC Blush Collection & Thoughts Part 6: Eyeshadow as Blush??

Make up is universal...I love it...I even keep my greasepaint sticks, eyeliners, shadesticks, lip pencils, lip markers, and felt tip liners, and crayons in the same holders to enhance my creativity, and so I never forget that I can grab the MAC Feline Kohl Power, and line my lips with it...I can even take MAC Cherry Lip Pencil and line my waterline...Make up is universal...

There are MAC eyeshadows I use as blush...one manager I once had knew I was sooo into cosmetics and was talking about her collection of make up...she told me she had a thing for pink and purple shadows on the weekends...and even brought her make up bag to work to show me and ask for ideas...I told her if you feel you don't have enough time to use your brights because you are limited to weekends, use all those pinks or plums or lavenders for blush, so you don't feel you have wasted product...she was like wow I never thought of that! This isn't news to a lot of people, but if it is news to you, hey what can I say? Glad you heard it somewhere...Heres where you get your money's worth!

1. So I will start off with Sushi Flower eyeshadow by MAC...this color is an eyeshadow that I use interchangeably as a blush...its a nice soft satin color, so that means there isn't enough color unless you pack it down. I think it would get better reviews if MAC just put it in a blush pan, and called it blush...Its not like Passionate eyeshadow at all.. this is more of a hot coral, Passionate is Barbie box pink...so try it as a blush, its gorgeous that way...

2. So number two is Pink Venus...I love this color as a blush...especially to cool down So Sweet So Easy Cremeblend Blush if I wanted...Its not really a cool blush, ist fairly real-tone baby doll pink... with some silver shimmer....

3. Amber Lights comes in at #3....I like this as a highlight blush...dab a little to dew up the upper cheekbones and you look tan, and its really pretty paired with coral blush...
