She may not be a Princess, but she is certainly THE lady of Disney...She is the introduction to our Disney home videos, and the introduction to the fireworks show on live ground at Disney.
There are a lot of Tinkerbell inspired looks, being that she is a cutie, and a mascot for Disney...but she is going to have her make up as is tutorial from me...so sorry for the lack of green eyeshadow in the tutorial.
Interesting fun fact about Tinkerbell is that she is illustrated and modeled after Marilyn Monroe...can't you see it in the hips, and the make up even? Tinkerbell is basically a cartoon Monroe. Being that I love Monroe, I had to do Tinkerbell...even though there are enough pixie looks online, and enough Tinkerbell costumes at Halloween.
So on with the tutorial....
1. Apply moisturizer to the whole face and let it sit for ten minutes.
2. Apply Urban Decay Primer Potion to the lid and let it sit for a minute.
3. Apply chaptick, balm, or lip conditioner to the lips and let it sit till the last minute when its time to do the lips.
4. Apply MAC's Rubenesque Paint Pot (gold-frost) to the lid with fingertips not with nails. You can also blend into the crease if you wish.
5. Using Urban Decay's Alice In Wonderland Book Of Shadows apply White Rabbit (Polyester Bride) to the brow bone for a highlight color with the MAC 227 (fat fabulous shader brush) and blend down into the crease with the color. Marilyn Monroe wore a lot of white eyeshadow, and plus it sparkles like a pixie.
6. Using Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Oraculum (Baked) and the MAC 217 (oval blender brush) sweep in a circular motion for depth into the outer corner and blend about 1/3 of the way into the crease with this golden color.
7. Using Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Midnight Tea Party (Midnight Cowboy Rides Again) and the MAC 239 (shader brush) pat this glittery eye color on the lid so the glitter particles really stick.
8. Using Urban Decay's eyeshadow in White Rabbit (Polyester Bride) and the MAC 239 pat this white color into the center of the lid to reopen and highlight the eye, and give it a pixie gleam.
9. Using Urban Decay's liquid eyeliner in Oil Slick (sparkly black with bronze shimmer) apply to the upper eyelid starting in the center of the lid, and pull the upper eyelid out gently, and apply upward, and wing it out. Go back over the line so its slightly heavier. Use continuity for the width of the line. Going into the inner corner and blend toward center. Line width of liquid liner should have the same width from start to finish.
10. Use lash curler if you need to, and apply mascara. Using Ardell's false black eyelashes in Pixies (I know, Pixies) adhere with clear lash glue. Press the outer corners of the lash down gently, so that it bends downward slightly in the outer corner for a Marilyn Monroe bedroom sweep.
11. Using Urban Decay's 24/7 eye crayon in Oil Slick draw in the waterline about 1/4 of the way only. Really saturate the outer corner and you can even blend under the eye a little with it.
12. Using Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Jabberwocky (Oil Slick-reminds me of MAC's Black Tied eyeshadow) apply under the eye with a stiff angle brush like the MAC 208 brush, and angle up. Ieven connected the angle to the wing in the outer upper corner, but do it gently so it doesn't look harsh.
13. Apply MAC's Strobe Liquid in the areas you want to luminize. Let it sit for a minute or two. Apply foundation. Using MAC's Cremeblend blush in Optimistic Orange (Limited Edition-Mac In Lillyland Collection-true coral color) and using fingertips or MAC's 168 brush apply to apples of cheeks.
14. Using NARS Orgasm blush or Super Orgasm blush (NARS trademark color-Orgasm is coral with shimmer, Super Orgasm is coral with gold glitter chunks-personal preference for this look) and set the cream blush with a blush brush, and sweep gently into the hairline.
13. Using MAC's Cream Color Base in Shell (sparkley taupe) and your fingertip, glide the color over the cheekbones, and onto the bridge of the nose. You can catch the cuids bow as well if you desire.
14. Using Too Faced Candlelight Powder (champagne colored iridescent shimmer with real 24K gold shimmer) apply to the cheekbones, forehead, and chin.
15. Using your setting powder set the face where color powder wasn't set.
16. Using MAC's Fix+ Spray on a little to set the face.
17. Using MAC's Dazzleglass in Love Alert (sheer red gloss with sparkle) apply to lips over an already conditioned mouth.
