Ladies of Disney: Their Make Up: Jasmine

Make Up Looks: Ladies of Disney-Their Actual Make Up & Face-Princess Jasmine

Current mood: giddy

So this is another exotic princess look. There are some Jasmine looks that are rich and full of turquoise and smokey colors but this is what Jasmine really wore, so its quite different. So drag out your bronzers, and black liquid liner...

1. First moisturize your face with your face moisturizer. Let it soak in for at least ten minutes...Apply Jergen's Glow (tanning lotion) in the deepest color. This is a building product, so it could take a week to become the desired color. If you don't have time to build the color, and you want to try the look right away don't worry some taning cream is better than nothing. Let this layer of moisture soak in for ten minutes. This coat of moisture will act as a primer. Apply evenly.

2. Apply Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Let it soak for a second.

3. Hydrate lips with balm, or chapstick, or lip conditioner. Lips will be the last thing you do, but at least they will be soft and hydrated by the time your return to them.

4. Using Urban Decay's Alice In Wonderland Book Of Shadows for the eyes--I will tell you the colors real names and the brushes I used...

5. First I started off by applying my MAC Paint Pot in Indian Wood (Antique Gold-frost) to the lid just using my finger tip, not my nail, and warm up the product with your fingertip until its on your finger and press it on the lid and slightly into crease if you want.

6. Before the cream base dries apply Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Chessur (Chopper) to the lid with the MAC 239 shader brush, pressing the shadow onto the paint pot base. Cover the base completely, and slightly into the crease as well.

7. Using Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Sellout (shimmery nude taupe) with the MAC 227 (big fat highlighter brush) to the brow bone for a highlight color. This color can be sold in palettes and seperately, and is part of Urban Decay's Book Of Shadows II, but not the new Alice In Wonderland Book Of Shadows. Blend down into the crease. Slightly overlapping the top of Chessur (Chopper)

8. Using Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Eat Me Drink Me (Sin) into the inner corner and as a highlight color with the MAC 239, and the help of the MAC 219 if you desire.

9. Using Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Midnight Tea Party (Midnight Cowboy Rides Again) pack the glittery taupe color over the lid with the MAC 239 brush.

10. Using Urban Decay's Eyeshadow in Oraculum (Baked) and the MAC 224 (shader for outer corner) sweep in a circular motion in the outer corner, and drag the brush in a sweeping motion into the crease about 2/3 of the way.

11. Using Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Mad Hatter (Twice Baked) and the MAC 224 or MAC 222 saturate the very outer corner for some exotic depth.

12. Using Urban Decay's liquid liner in Pervursion (matte black) line the lid starting in the center of the lid and hold lid upward, and wing out keeping the width of the line consistent throughout. Start at the inner corner with the liquid liner, and keeping the line consistent blend the liner with the outer area.

13. Next curl lashes and apply black mascara. Next apply Ardell's lashes in Luvies (angled black lashes) and press down on outer corners when lashes are drying so they swoop down into a bedroom eye. Don't forget to deepen the brows if u need to just a color or so darker than the hair color you are going to rock with the look.

14. Using MAC's Eye Kohl in Teddy (brown) apply to the entire waterline.

15. Using Urban Decay's eyeshadow in Jabberwocky (Oil Slick- silver sparkly black-compares to MAC's Black Tied) apply to the under eye area in the very outer corner only.

16. Using MAC Strobe Liquid blend onto the cheekbone area for a dew looking highlight on the cheek. Let it dry for a minute. I like to put the Strobe Liquid under the foundation. There is more than one way to skin a cat however. If you are going to apply it over foundation (not over dry powder of foundation) press it on with your fingertips, don't move in a circular blending motion.

17. Using your foundation apply all over. Let it sit and dry for two minutes. Using setting powder or MAC's Mineralize SkinFinish Natural in your skin tone set over foundation.

18. Using MAC's blush in Plum Foolery (faintly plum-sheertone shimmer) apply to the apples of the cheeks and blend out into the hairline. Smile.

19. Using MAC's Mineralize SkinFinish in Sunny By Nature, Gold Deposit, or Comfort (a bronze one) and smile, and using the E technique blend out with a buffer a couple times till you get the depth you ant, and avoid the jawline demarcation.

20. Using Urban Decay's lip crayon in Naked line and contour the lips.

21. Using MAC's lipstick in Sophisto (plum with sparkle-lustre) apply over the pencil.

22. Apply MAC's Dazzleglass in Like Venus (bubblegum pink with red pearl), just to dd a touch of sweet princess magic. Jasmine's lips weren't too dark after all.

*Note-The Urban Decay colors that have real names in captions are from the Alice In Wonderland Book Of Shadows. This is a special edition palette.
